Jeanette Bjurling was born in 1965 in
Sweden. She studied violin and solo singing at the Royal
Academy of Music in Stockholm. She is an opera and concert
singer. She has sung with many different orchestras in
concert halls and churches. She is a member of 'KammarensembleN',
Swedish Radio's and Svenska Rikskonserter's ensemble for
contemporary music.
Jeanette Bjurling have made several recordings for radio (e.
g. Mysteries of the Macabre by Ligeti, Offrandres by Varèse,
works by Häendel, Haydn and Mozart), tv and record
companies.
In the 2002/2003 season she will perform at the Royal Opera
in Stockholm - as Musetta in La Bohéme, the title part in
Le Rossignol by Stravinsky and as a Flowermaiden in
Parsifal. |
