Anders Kilström is one of the leading
Swedish pianists. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music
in Stockholm (diploma in 1986). He has performed in all the
Scandinavian countries, Britain, France, Germany and the
United States. He has collaborated with many prominent
conductors such as Neeme Järvi, Franz Weiser-Möst, Elgar
Howarth, Hans Graf and Osmo Vänskä.
Last year he gave the first performance of Gunnar Valkares's
Piano Concerto 'Avventura' with the Göteborg Symphony
Orchestra, and appeared as a soloist with the Staatskapelle
Weimar and the Bulgarian Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a chamber musician, he collaborates with many outstanding
singers and instrumentalists. He has been a member of
KammarensembleN for over ten years. His repertoire spans
music from Bach to Francesconi.
He also teaches piano at the Royal College of Music in
Stockholm. |
