Artur Ruciński graduated from the Music
Academy in Warsaw where he studied voice with Jerzy Knetig.
In 1997 he made his debut in the Grand Theatre - National
Opera in Warsaw as Guglielmo in Mozart's Cos" fan
tutte. In 1999 he held a grant from the Hans and Eugenia
Jutting Foundation.
He is a prizewinner of numerous vocal competitions,
including those in Bydgoszcz, Duszniki-Zdrój and £ód¼.
In 2000 he won Second Prize (the first was not awarded) at
the 6th Adam Didur National Opera Competition in Bytom.
His recent engagements include Handel's Messiah and
Beethoven's Ninth Symphony during a New Year's Eve and the
New Year 2002 concerts in Paris.
He has been invited by the director of the Warsaw Chamber
Opera to sing Papageno in Mozart's The Magic Flute during
the company's recent tour of Spain. He is now a soloist of
the Warsaw Chamber Opera, collaborating at the same time
with the Opera in £ód¼ (Sir Richard Forth in Bellini's I
Puritani) and the Grand Theatre in Warsaw (the title role in
Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin, Ping in Puccini's Turandot).
For the past two years Adam Ruciński has pursued his career
under the artistic guidance of the famous tenor Kaludi
Kaludov, who is also his manager. |
