pro contemporania ensemble
was founded in 1990 on the initiative of a group of young musicians and composers. Its central goal is the promotion of contemporary music through collaboration with artists from all fields, openness to new ideas and all manners of non-conventional 'provocative' projects. The group is regularly invited to take part in concerts, happenings, improvisations, jam-sessions, and joint projects with dancers, painters, and actors. It has performed in Romania, France, Switzerland, Albania, Belgium, and Israel.
