Born in 1959 in Rome, he studied composition with Mauro Bortolotti and Giacomo Manzoni. He writes instrumental pieces and incidental music for the theatre. His works have been performed in many European countries, Argentina and China. He is also interested in music theory and analysis. His essays about Webern and aleatory music have been published in specialist periodicals. He is vice-president and the ONuova Consonanza1 Association and professor of composition in Latina1s Conservatory.
