Was born in Wroc1aw. She studied composition with Jan
Wichrowski at the city1s Music Academy, winning a diploma with the OPrimus
Inter Pares1 distinction. She continued her studies at the Conservatorium
Hogeschool Enschede in The Netherlands. She currectly studies singing with
Danuta Paziuk-Zipser. She held grants from the Ernst von Siemens Music
Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage,
the City of Wroc1aw and the Foundation for International Education. Her
honours include First Prizes at the Andrzej
Panufnik International Composers1 Competition (1999) and the Krzysztof
Penderecki National Competition of Contemporary Chamber Music (2002), the
Special Award at the International Competition of Contemporary Chamber
Music OConcours Moderne 20021, as well as the Main Prize at the 5th
Competition of 20th- and 21st-century Music for Young Performers,
organised by the Polish Society for Contemporary Music (May 2003).
She has taken part in such prestigious festivals as the OWarsaw Autumn1,
OMusica Polonica Nova1, OAudio-Art1, OWratislavia Cantans1, and the Adam
Didur Festival. She has also performed in the Philharmonic Halls in Warsaw,
Kraków and Wroc1aw, the University Hall in PoznaY, in the jubilee of the
Wroc1aw Opera and the concerts of the Polish Composers1 Union. She has
given first performances and made premiere recordings of many new pieces.
