Adam Szerszeń is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski
Music Academy in Katowice, where he studied with Michalina Growiec. He won
prizes and honourable mentions at numerous vocal competitions. His
repertoire includes oratorios, cantatas, songs as well as many operatic
parts. He has sung in radio broadcasts and on television. He has also made
cd recordings. He was a member of the Camerata Silesia Singers’
Ensemble from 1998 to 2002. At present, he is a soloist of the Silesian
Opera in Bytom (where he made his operatic debut as the Sword-bearer in
Stanisław Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor in 2002) and the Grand Opera
in Poznań. He also works as an assistant at the Music Academy in Katowice.
