The duo is made up of twin brothers, Grzegorz and Radosław
Toporowski, the students of the Music Academy in Warsaw in the accordion
class of Jerzy Łukasie-wicz. Thanks to a highly diverse repertoire, they
perform regularly in chamber and educational concerts, receptions and
occasional events such as openings of exhibitions. They have received grants
from the Minister of Culture and the President of Legnica.
The duo’s honours include Second Prize at the International
Competition in Klinghenthal, Germany (2004), First Prize at
the National Accordion Competition in Chełm (2004), Second Prize at the
International Accordion Meetings in Sanok (2002), First Prize at the
Accordion Festival in Mława (2000) and Third Prize at the International
Chamber Music Competition in Jawor (1999).
